Town Vs PNE

So, another big day on the Shrewsbury Town Calendar! The first home game back in League One, not only that but this is the first time we have faced Preston since 1997.

After a good performance on the opening day at Bramal Lane, the Gaffer (Graham Turner) will be looking to turn a good performance into points on the board as Town continue their campaign. But it’s not just bragging rights at stake for the lads, this is the chance to extend our unbeaten home record (in competitive games) to 540 days.

Tonights game also marks the return of Nicky Wroe and Shane Cansdell-Sherriff, who both joined North End after their contracts expired. Lets give them a warm welcome back, but we won’t let them leave with a smile on their faces!!
